TITLE EXAMINER - Madison, WI
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Searches land records both online and at local courthouses as well as examines titles of routine to considerable complexity in accordance with company procedures and local examining practices to determine the status of title.
  • Abstracts and analyzes deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, mineral reservations and other applicable instruments.
  • Responds to various requests from company employees, attorneys and the customers regarding status of legal title and insurability of title.
  • Files unrecorded documents, making sure fees are correct and documents are properly recorded.
  • Compiles information from city, county and other public records for updating company files, logs and indexes.Performs other general office duties, including answering phones, greeting customers, scanning and typing.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  •  Analytical ability to perform tasks that are varied and short-term, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to locate, accurately compile and interpret information affecting status of title to real property.
  • Ability to work effectively with others, meet deadlines and to perform tasks requiring some physical exertion, in order to lift cumbersome records books.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in person and by telephone.
  • Ability to operate computer and peripherals.Valid drivers license for travel to county courthouses.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSING
  •  High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years searching and examining experience preferred. 
 
Account Executive - Eau Claire, WI
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and conduct sales and marketing programs to increase local market share.
  • Educate prospective and existing customers about our business solutions.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Network at association meetings and other appropriate social functions.
  • Market company services using marketing materials and suitable promotional items and by taking orders for title insurance and other services.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and competitive pricing for potential orders.
  • Monitor activities and expenses periodically.
  • Act as a liaison between the Company’s Accounts Receivable Department and the customer in regards to unpaid invoices.
  • All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong title, real estate, or lending background required.
  • Familiar with current marketing and advertising trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and by telephone with all levels of the organization and with external customers.
  • Ability to positively represent the company.
  • Demonstrated negotiating and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field, with two or more years of successful sales experience, preferably in a real estate or financial services organization, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to pass the State title licensing exam, or license required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  •  Valid driver’s license for day travel in Wisconsin required. Mileage reimbursement available.
  • Would be expected to become a notary to have the ability to conduct closings.
 
 Administrative Assistant - Destin, FL
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receives and routes phone calls to the appropriate parties after gathering pertinent information, takes messages as needed, and assists visitors in a timely manner.
  • Performs routine but varied clerical duties which may include any of the following: sorting and distributing incoming mail; preparing outgoing mail and/or overnight mail; typing, scanning, and ordering office supplies.
  • Coordinates the closing rooms, assists with order entry, ordering title, and other general office duties as assigned.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Must have superior customer-service skills.
  • Must be computer-proficient and familiar with Google G Suite Applications.
  • Ability to type forms accurately and thoroughly, and to follow instructions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person and by telephone; ability to efficiently and accurately relay messages and interact with callers and visitors.

  • High school graduation/equivalent required with one year administrative experience preferred.

Closing/Sales Agent - Fond du Lac, WI & Rice Lake, WI
 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare closing statements and perform residential closings.
  • Review and understand real estate conveyance documents.
  • Market the company's services to prospective customers by being amazing during the closing, attends industry networking events and makes frequent contact with potential and existing customers.
  • Review title insurance commitments and related documents.Collaborate with lenders, real estate agents, lawyers and and other company closers and title examiners on transactional and title issues encountered on specific transactions.
  • Display excellent customer service skills to build strong relationships with local lenders, real estate agents and other customers to the company.
  • The Closing/Sales Agent will be trained to handle all of the above; however, the ideal candidate will have many of these responsibilities already mastered.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of real estate transactional experience with direct customer contact.
  • The ability to proactively address and resolve issues heading into a real estate closing.
  • A good understanding of Wisconsin real estate closing procedures.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and accountability, and an ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
