Closing Assistant - Appleton, WI, West Bend, WI
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Completes escrow files with appropriate information, obtains necessary information from parties involved in transaction, prepares closing documents and transmits escrow instructions to parties involved.
  • Creates ledgers, cuts checks, initiates wires according to closing instructions.
  • Assists customers by providing general information on company escrow services, procedures and status of cases.
  • Performs clerical duties such as answering phones, entering orders, scanning files and other general office duties.
  • May assist with conducting closings of limited complexity.
  • All other duties as assigned.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of the purpose and use of title insurance and of related services; of the purpose and terminology of legal instruments involved in escrow transactions; and in the insuring of title to real property.
  • Ability to determine and prepare necessary forms to complete escrow transactions; to type forms accurately; to follow instructions; to make arithmetic computations; to meet and deal with the public effectively.
  • Analytical ability sufficient to perform varied tasks of limited complexity guided by general company escrow procedures and escrow supervisor instructions.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and to use common office suite software, such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, in person and by telephone.
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSING
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of clerical experience related to escrow operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
 
Closing Agent - Destin, FL, Wauwatosa, WI
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare closing statements and perform residential closings.
  • Review and understand real estate conveyance documents.
  • Market the company's services to prospective customers.
  • Review title insurance commitments and related documents.
  • Collaborate with lenders, real estate agents, lawyers and other company closers and title examiners on transactional and title issues encountered on specific transactions.
  • Display excellent customer service skills to build strong relationships with local lenders, real estate agents and other customers to the company.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of real estate transactional experience with direct customer contact.
  • The ability to proactively address and resolve issues heading into a real estate closing.
  • A good understanding of real estate closing procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and accountability, and an ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare closing statements and perform residential closings.
  • Review and understand real estate conveyance documents.
  • Market the company's services to prospective customers by being amazing during the closing, attends industry networking events and makes frequent contact with potential and existing customers.
  • Review title insurance commitments and related documents.
  • Collaborate with lenders, real estate agents, lawyers and and other company closers and title examiners on transactional and title issues encountered on specific transactions.
  • Display excellent customer service skills to build strong relationships with local lenders, real estate agents and other customers to the company.
  • The Closing/Sales Agent will be trained to handle all of the above; however, the ideal candidate will have many of these responsibilities already mastered.

Title Examiner - Milwaukee, WI, Wauwatosa, WI
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Searches land records both online and at local courthouses as well as examines titles of routine to considerable complexity in accordance with company procedures and local examining practices to determine the status of title.
  • Abstracts and analyzes deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, mineral reservations and other applicable instruments.
  • Responds to various requests from company employees, attorneys and the customers regarding status of legal title and insurability of title.
  • Files unrecorded documents, making sure fees are correct and documents are properly recorded.
  • Compiles information from city, county and other public records for updating company files, logs and indexes.
  • Performs other general office duties, including answering phones, greeting customers, scanning and typing.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Analytical ability to perform tasks that are varied and short-term, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to locate, accurately compile and interpret information affecting status of title to real property.
  • Ability to work effectively with others, meet deadlines and to perform tasks requiring some physical exertion, in order to lift cumbersome records books.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in person and by telephone.
  • Ability to operate computer and peripherals.
  • Valid drivers license for travel to county courthouses.
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSING
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years searching and examining experience preferred.
 
Administrative Assistant - Minocqua, WI
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receives and screens telephone callers or visitors.Gives information to callers; assists them in determining proper person/department to contact; takes messages as appropriate. Assists visitors as necessary.
  • Performs routine but varied clerical duties which may include any of the following: sorting and distributes incoming mail; preparing outgoing mail and/or overnight mail; typing, scanning; posts information to records.
  • Complete mail and e-recordings for residential department within a timely manner.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary, including assisting other departments or employees with general clerical duties and other duties as assigned.

  • Must have superior customer-service skills.
